CaseWORK aims at supporting volunteers working with refugees and asylum seekers by an innovative learning environment offering support and training. The main output of caseWORK will be an online training seminar, presented in a user-friendly online learning environment, for volunteers, comprising three main topical areas: Information, Intercultural Competence, and Psychological Support.
The main target group of the project are volunteers involved in the process of supporting asylum seekers at different stages of their stay in Europe. Organisations dealing with volunteers can benefit from the project. All volunteers are dedicated, willing to help and to contribute to the integration process, but they need information, advice, support and help for developing the necessary skills. It is also essential to to be aware of the challenges, limitations and potential (emotional) frustration in the support process.
